The publication of an entirely revised version of the insightful text book "Political Economic Geography" has been announced by Pearson publisher. This include my chapter proposing a critical desciption of environmental transition, from the roots of western environmental thinking throught its mainstreaming and failure, up to the recent urban political ecology perspective.
Rural City Labs starting soon
The Orto della SME has been invited by Zappata Romana to take part in training labs for gardeners funded by the project Seminati. Labs will take place one for month until Dec 2022 and will be held in Rome collective gardens, with the possibility for remote participation (if interested write to zappataromana@gmail.com).

Urban Gardening @UniTo: a new EIT cross-KIC “New European Bauhaus” project
Together with Laura Corazza (PI), Luca Battisti and Federico Cuomo, I are running a new urban gardening project at the University of Turin. The project aims to create within the university community of the University of Turin a living lab experience through the creation of an urban community garden (container gardening techniques) co-created and co-designed by students and university staff of the areas surrounding one of the campuses of UniTo.

I am presenting on the 30th of June 2021 at the EUGEO Conference 2021, in Prague and on-line, my work on a participatory scenario building conducted in the city of Ghent in 2019, during my MSCA project CROWD_USG. Together with key informants I considered the currently un-resolved shortcomings of digital participation processes in urban governance .
